During September members of the Footpaths Group have been out and about in the village, clearing undergrowth around and improving the signage along some of our footpaths. Have you spotted any of the improvements? Do tell is via the website or our email address goostreyfootpaths@gmail.com.
Remember you can find local walks to enjoy on our Publications Page, where you will find a link to allow you to read and download our publication “More Goostrey Walks and Strolls Millennium Edition” and a further “Path North” leaflet.”

Members of the Group added a new plaque to the bridge in Galey Wood in memory of Bill Owen and to mark his significant contribution to getting this path created. See Gallery for photo
